Cindy Allison, CNP
Cindy Allison was born and raised in Kentucky and moved to Ohio in 1995. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University in 1982. She further enhanced her pediatric skills working at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky in Pediatric Intensive Care.
In 1990 and 1991 she went back to NKU and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She then worked as a school nurse. After graduating in 1992 with Master of Science from the University of Cincinnati, Cindy pursued Pediatric Primary Care. She had practiced for 6 years at Children’s Hospital Primary Care Clinic (PPC) as well as Baby Milk Fund Clinic.
Cindy has been practicing at Northeast Cincinnati Pediatric Associates for almost 10 years. She is certified by the National Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and licensed as PNP by the state of Ohio. In addition to providing for patient care, Cindy has also taught classes at Northern Kentucky University. She has also published chapters in textbooks for Primary Care providers.
Even though Cindy is very focused on child health, she became interested in lactation education and newborn nutrition. She is certified as a Lactation Consultant and provides breastfeeding services to our families. Cindy is committed to providing Holistic care for our Northeast Cincinnati Pediatric families.
