Dr Cook grew up in Milford, Ohio and enjoys living in the Midwest. She lives with her husband and three children in West Chester, Ohio. She enjoys outdoor sports and prior to having her three children played in sand volleyball and three-on-three basketball tournaments throughout her educational years. It was from this background that cultivated her interest in nutrition and obesity and managing it as an individual effort within familial (team) context.
She also enjoys working with children with ADHD, depression, and anxiety disorders, as well as just simply being a general pediatrician. As a pediatrician she sees her role as a healer, but most importantly as an advocate, an educator, and as a support for the family who is experiencing constant change and growth with or without disease.
