Laurie Freese, CNP
Laurie Freese grew up in the Cincinnati area. She graduated from Good Samaritan School of Nursing with honors in 1986. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1994. After working in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a registered nurse for several years, she decided to further her education in pediatric primary care.
Laurie completed her Masters of Science in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner education in 1996 with honors from the University of Cincinnati. She is certified by the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and licensed as PNP by the state of Ohio. Laurie joined our practice in 2001 with close to 20 years of nursing experience and has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for 8 years. Her focus is the provision of excellent care for children in a supportive environment. In 2003 Laurie received her certification as a Lactation Consultant and provides breast-feeding services to our families. She is committed to supporting moms who want to provide the best care for their babies.
