Dosage Notes

Dosage may be given every 4 hours as needed but not more than 5 times daily. Dosages contain the following strengths:

Drops Each 0.8 ml dropper contains 80 mg acetaminophen.
Syrup Each 5 ml teaspoon contains 160 mg acetaminophen.
Chewables Regular tablets contain 80 mg acetaminophen each.
Chewables Double-strength tablets contain 160 mg acetaminophen each.

Children's Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) Dosages

Dosage Notes

Dosage may be given every 8 hours as needed but not more than 3 times daily.

NOTE: If you are not sure how much Children's Motrin to give your child, or have any questions about dosing, call our office for that information.

Dosages contain the following strengths:

Infant Motrin, etc.: 1.25 mls contains 50 mg
Infant Motrin, etc.: 2.5 mls=100 mg.
Children's Motrin, etc.: 100 mg/5 mls (tsp).
