After 2 years working as a substitute teacher and research assistant at the Kosair Children’s Hospital Research Institute in Louisville she decided to pursue becoming a physician. She attended the University of Louisville Medical School where she met her husband, Matt (now a Med-Peds physician). After graduation they moved to Cincinnati to begin residency training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, creative arts, being active in her church, and spending time with her husband, Matt, and their yellow lab Murray.
