Well Care Visits

The American Academy of Pediatrics, the CDC and Cincinnati Children's Hospital have strongly recommended that parents continue their child’s well care appointments during this time. Well care is crucial to prevent vaccine preventable diseases and maintain children’s health and well being. Northeast Cincinnati Pediatrics is committed to the safety and health of your families. We continue to implement strict safety measures that include:
- waiting in your car instead of a waiting room
- medical assistants meeting you at the door and taking you directly to a freshly cleaned room
- separating well visits from ill visits in time and space
- rigorous cleaning and disinfecting protocols for all our patient care areas
- universal masking for patients and staff
With the closing of schools and social distancing efforts, we continue to see dramatic decreases in ill children at our office. Our staff is now prepared to increase our availability for well care that may have been previously postponed. We have:
- increased our evening hours and Saturdays for well visits
- opened our schedules through August for your convenience
- opened availability to do sports physicals that will not expire for 12 months
- added check up slots in May for those hoping to beat the summer rush
Northeast Cincinnati Pediatrics strongly agrees with the AAP, CDC, and Cincinnati Children’s that prioritizing your child’s well visits is important and necessary. Caring for the health and well being of your children in a safe and effective manner is our highest priority!
