Katie Suguitan, LPCC PMH-C
Katie grew up in Cincinnati with her parents and two brothers. She initially wanted to be a teacher and earned her bachelor’s degree in middle/secondary education from Butler University in Indianapolis. She became interested in mental health after spending a year in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Detroit, and she worked in the foster care system before earning her graduate degree from Xavier in 2019. Katie’s experience as a therapist includes providing school-based counseling, family counseling, and perinatal mental health counseling. Her interest in serving children and families from all backgrounds and stages of life brought her to Northeast Cincinnati Pediatrics, where she works with children and parents, including postpartum mothers. In her spare time, Katie enjoys being outside and spending time with her husband, two children, and dog.
