Weight Management Program

Healthy habits for growing bodies and minds

Childhood obesity affects millions of children worldwide and up to 1 in 5 children in the United States. This can lead to serious health complications including type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and sleep disorders. Beyond physical health, childhood obesity may also impact a child's emotional well-being and self-esteem. Early intervention and professional support are crucial in helping children develop healthy lifestyle habits that will benefit them throughout their lives.

Our Weight Management Program Offers the Following:

  • Laboratory evaluation to assess for other conditions such as high cholesterol and pre-diabetes
  • Genetic testing for obesity-related genes
  • Development of a weight management plan that prioritizes and puts your child first
  • Weight loss medications for those that qualify
  • Management of issues related to carrying extra weight, including mental health disorders like anxiety and depression
  • Telehealth appointments as needed
