Laurie Freese, APRN

Laurie Freese grew up in the Cincinnati area. She graduated from Good Samaritan School of Nursing with honors in 1986. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1994. After working several years in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit as a registered nurse, she decided to further her education in pediatric primary care. Laurie completed her Masters of Science in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner education in 1996 with honors from the University of Cincinnati.

She is certified by the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and licensed as a PNP by the state of Ohio. Laurie joined our practice in 2001 and has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for over 15 years. She became a Certified Lactation Counselor as a result of her interest in promoting and supporting breast-feeding mothers and she provides breast-feeding services to our families. Her focus is the provision of excellent care and support for children and their families as they grow from birth to adulthood and the provision of lactation services to infants and their families.
